For nearly thirty years, Jim McKenzie has served the mission of Christian education—as a teacher, head of school, and now a voice encouraging others in their own calling. His journey began in the classroom, where he discovered a deep joy in helping students see God’s truth in every subject and develop a love for learning that lasts a lifetime.
That same heart for formation has guided him ever since. Whether leading a school community, mentoring fellow educators, or speaking to audiences across North America, Jim’s aim has remained the same: to help people live out their faith with conviction, curiosity, and joy.
Today, Jim shares messages that invite reflection and renewal. On the big stage, his energy draws people in; in smaller settings, his pastoral presence helps them slow down and listen for God’s voice. Through storytelling and Scripture, he reminds audiences that the Christian faith is not only true—it’s deeply good and beautifully hopeful in a world that needs both.

Jim is a husband, father of five, and follower of Jesus who finds joy in family, faith, and time outdoors. He and his wife, Hannah, love cheering on their kids in their pursuits and finding moments to travel and explore God’s creation together. When he’s not speaking or writing, Jim enjoys running and playing pickleball with friends. His personal mission is simple yet profound: to equip leaders to make disciples of Jesus who courageously cooperate with God in His redemptive work in our world.
